Gold Coast Minibus Hire for Theme Parks, Beaches and the Hinterland
The Gold Coast is built for groups: hens and bucks weekends, school-holiday families, visiting teams. A minibus with a driver means nobody gets stuck with the keys, and you can move from beach to theme park to rainforest without a car park in sight.
Theme park days
Movie World, Wet'n'Wild and Dreamworld are up at the northern end of the coast, around Oxenford and Coomera, and Sea World is on The Spit at Main Beach. You'll be dropped at the gates, and your driver comes back at closing time, so tired kids go straight from the park to their seats.

Into the hinterland
Tamborine Mountain, with its Gallery Walk and rainforest, is about 45 minutes away. Springbrook and the Natural Bridge take about an hour, and O'Reilly's in Lamington National Park about an hour and three quarters.
Commercial tours in Queensland's national parks need a permit from the parks service, so mention any guided walks when you enquire.
Over the border to Byron
Byron Bay is about an hour and a quarter south, across the line into New South Wales. From early October to early April, NSW is on daylight saving and Queensland isn't, so Byron's clocks run an hour ahead. Double-check restaurant bookings and tour times on the NSW side.
Arrivals at Coolangatta and Brisbane
From the Coolangatta terminal to Cavill Mall in Surfers Paradise is roughly 22 km, or about 30 minutes when traffic is light. Registered buses and minibuses collect from the angled bays of the airport's GT Transit Area, right beside the terminal.
If you're flying into Brisbane, the run down to Surfers Paradise is about 85 km and an hour or more, with a cashless toll at Murarrie if the route crosses the Gateway bridges.
In the middle of Surfers Paradise, the City of Gold Coast has a new coach interchange under construction on the site of the Cypress Palms car park, so expect works nearby for now.
Your questions
Can we book a minibus for a hens or bucks weekend?
Yes. Share your plans for each day, from a dinner out to an afternoon on Tamborine Mountain, and the vehicle is booked around them.
Is Brisbane Airport a sensible option for the Gold Coast?
It works, but it's about 85 km away, so allow an hour or more. Gold Coast Airport, at about 22 km, is the quicker arrival.
Is Byron Bay on the same time as the Gold Coast?
Not during daylight saving. In summer Byron is an hour ahead, so set pickup times in Queensland time and allow for the change.
