Minibus Hire Across Australia

An executive car for the moments that call for one

Sometimes the group is just one to three people. A chauffeur-driven sedan or SUV suits the couple on their wedding day, a visiting speaker or a family member who'd rather skip the shuttle.

Sedan or SUV

A premium sedan is the classic choice for up to three passengers with modest bags. Choose an SUV if there's more luggage, golf clubs or a pram. Either can run alongside a minibus for the rest of your group, so the timetable stays in one booking.

Typical models

The photos show typical models in this size. Which vehicle runs depends on the partner operator that takes the booking.

How chauffeured cars are regulated

Because NSW treats booked hire cars as point to point transport, even a near-new car used for bookings must pass a yearly safety inspection, so its age alone isn't the test. In Western Australia, your chauffeur carries a passenger transport authorisation that's renewed every year. Neither is something you need to check yourself.

Chauffeured hire cars aren't covered by the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport, so if a passenger needs step-free access, ask about an accessible minibus instead.

On board

  • In Western Australia, drivers carrying passengers for hire or reward need a PTD authorisation, renewed annually
  • In NSW, vehicles used for booked services need an annual safety check, even when less than five years old
  • Chauffeur-driven premium sedan or SUV

Where it fits in a bigger plan

On a wedding day, the couple travels in the car while guests follow in a minibus. At a conference, the keynote speaker arrives on their own schedule. For an airport pickup, a single traveller skips the wait for the group.

It also works for the grandparents at a family reunion, or for the one guest flying in late after everyone else has already checked in. Put the car in the same request as the group vehicle and the times can be planned together.

What to tell us

The pickup address or flight number, the destination, how many bags, and whether you'd like the driver to wait. If there's a dress code, a sign to hold at arrivals or a child seat needed, mention that too and we'll pass it on.

Your questions

How many passengers fit in an executive car?

Typically one to three, so there is room to sit comfortably. For four to seven, a people mover is usually a better fit.

Can the car wait while we attend an event?

Ask when you book. Waiting time and return runs can be built into the quote.

Can we request a particular colour or model?

You can ask. The operator will say what is available on your date.
