Minibus Hire Across Australia

Small-Group Minibus and People Mover Hire Around Australia

Got a winery day, a wedding, a get-together with the cousins or a club trip on the calendar? Tell us who's coming and where you'd like to go, and we'll arrange a minibus or people mover with its own driver, so the whole group travels together and nobody spends the day behind the wheel.

Sized for groups of up to about 19

A people mover usually seats six or seven, with a luggage area behind the last row. A minibus takes 16 to 19. That covers most of the trips people plan with us: a hens weekend in the Hunter, a birthday lunch in the Yarra Valley, an under-16s side heading to a carnival, three generations of one family catching up.

More of you than that? We also arrange midi coaches of 29 to 35 seats and full-size coaches from 49, or two smaller vehicles travelling in convoy, which can be easier where parking is tight.

We book it, a local operator runs it

We're a booking service, not a bus company. Every trip is run by a partner operator accredited for passenger transport in its own state or territory and insured as Australian law requires. The vehicle, and the person at the wheel, come from that operator. We find the right match for your day, have it priced and look after the booking with you.

One quote, and nothing to pay until you say yes

You won't find a price list here. What a day costs hangs on when it is, how long it runs, how far you go and what you travel in, so each trip is quoted on its own. One quote covers your whole day and spells out the vehicle, the timings and the cancellation terms, which differ from one operator and vehicle to the next. Read it at your leisure: nothing is charged until you accept.

Days out that suit a minibus

From Sydney, it's roughly 1.75 hours to Katoomba in the Blue Mountains and about two to Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley. From Melbourne, the Yarra Valley is roughly an hour and Lorne, on the Great Ocean Road, about two. Adelaide has the Barossa an hour up the road and McLaren Vale even closer. Each city page has more ideas, with approximate drive times.

Worth booking early

Hunter Valley cellar doors expect larger groups to book before they turn up. From the opening of the new Twelve Apostles visitor centre, every visit to the main lookouts has to be booked ahead. And on big weekends such as Melbourne Cup week or the Australian Open, vehicles get snapped up, so an early request gives you more choice.

Travelling with someone who needs a hand

If anyone in your group uses a wheelchair or finds steps difficult, mention it in your first message. We'll look for an operator with the right kind of vehicle, perhaps a minibus with a lift or ramp, before any pricing happens. The more notice you give, the more options there tend to be.

Your questions

Do you drive the minibus yourselves?

No. The vehicle and driver come from an accredited, insured partner operator. We sort out the booking, and you can come to us with any questions about it.

When do I pay?

Only once you accept the quote. Asking for one is free.

Can we stop wherever we like along the way?

Plan your stops when you ask for the quote so the timings work. Some places restrict where vehicles can pull in: buses may not set down in the Echo Point roundabout at Katoomba, for example, so the driver uses an agreed spot nearby.
