Airport Pickups by Minibus and People Mover

Sixteen airports have a page, from Sydney and Melbourne to Alice Springs and Launceston. Each one explains where a group vehicle may collect you and roughly how long you'll be on the road into town.

Every airport handles groups its own way

Only a few publish a proper waiting area for buses: Sydney's Bus Holding Area on Ross Smith Avenue, Brisbane's Central Parking Area off Nancy Bird Way, and a holding area off May Bradford Drive at the Gold Coast. Melbourne and Perth use permitted bus zones and bays. Smaller airports such as Canberra, Darwin and Townsville publish no coach arrangements at all, so the operator plans your pickup around their general rules.

Help your driver find you

Send every flight number, the landing times and a headcount. Mention the bags as well: once every seat in a minibus is taken there isn't much luggage room left, so a group with big suitcases, surfboards or golf clubs may need the next size up. In Perth, check your airline's terminal, because the two precincts are around ten minutes apart by road.

Your questions

Can the vehicle wait at the kerb?

Rarely. Most terminal kerbs are for loading only, so the vehicle waits in a holding area or permitted zone and comes forward when your group is ready.

What if our flight is delayed?

Include the flight number in your request so the pickup can be planned around the real landing time, and tell us straight away if you change flights.

Can the trip home go on the same quote?

Yes. Add the departing flight and both legs are priced together.
