Brisbane Minibus Hire for River City Days and Hinterland Trips
Brisbane makes an easy base for a group. The weather is kind for most of the year, the river winds through the middle of town, and the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and the green hinterland are all within about two hours.
Koalas, South Bank and the river
A classic first day pairs Lone Pine at Fig Tree Pocket with an afternoon at South Bank, and a minibus makes that an easy loop. Brisbane only lets private coaches park in the inner city at approved spots and times, so your driver sets you down, heads off and is back at the time you've chosen.
Bringing a bigger group in a full coach? The longer-stay CBD spaces are on Albert and Upper Albert streets, and the South Brisbane Depot can be booked for longer parking through a state bus parking calendar.

Days beyond the city
Australia Zoo at Beerwah and the Gold Coast are each about an hour away. Tamborine Mountain is around an hour and a quarter, Noosa about an hour and three quarters, and O'Reilly's in Lamington National Park roughly two hours.
Queensland's national parks ask commercial tours to hold a permit from the parks service, so tell the operator which walks or lookouts are on your list. For North Stradbroke Island, the minibus drops you at the Cleveland ferries, about 45 minutes from town.

Arriving by ship
Game night at Suncorp Stadium
Coaches can drop off and collect on Heussler Terrace, but they can't wait there and engines can't idle. Buses with 12 or more seats can apply for a place in the stadium's on-street zones, and the best spots go early, so apply as soon as your tickets are booked.
Airport and cruise terminal
From the Domestic Terminal to City Hall it's about 16 km, roughly 20 minutes outside peak times, on either the AirportlinkM7 toll road or the Gateway Motorway. Both are cashless.
Cruising from Luggage Point? Only coaches pre-booked by the cruise lines can drive into the terminal site, and other charter pickups need the port's agreement in advance, so mention your ship and date early.
Your questions
How far is the Gold Coast from Brisbane?
About 80 km to Surfers Paradise, which takes roughly an hour. Theme park days work well from a Brisbane hotel.
Can the minibus take us to a big game at Suncorp Stadium?
Yes. It drops you on Heussler Terrace and returns there after full time, since waiting on the street isn't allowed.
Is a people mover enough for our family reunion?
A people mover usually seats six or seven. For bigger families, a minibus of up to 19 seats keeps everyone on board together.
