Minibus Hire Across Australia

Getting your team to the offsite, the dinner and home again

A work event runs better when nobody is hunting for a taxi or a car park. Share the headcount, venues and timings, and we'll match the day with a minibus, people mover or coach and a driver from a licensed operator.

Most teams fit one small vehicle

Offsites, client days and leadership retreats usually involve ten to thirty people. That's minibus and midi coach territory: one vehicle, one driver, and everyone arriving together rather than trickling in from separate cars.

For a whole-company day or a conference spread across several hotels, a midi coach or full-size coach may suit better, or two smaller vehicles running a loop.

Long event days and the driver's hours

Conference days stretch: an early hotel pickup, sessions, a dinner across town, a late run home. For buses over 4.5 t GVM built to carry more than 12 adults, the Heavy Vehicle National Law caps how long a driver may work, and from 1 August 2026 nobody may drive one while impaired by fatigue, even inside those limits.

That can mean a second driver or a split shift. Western Australia and the Northern Territory sit outside the HVNL with fatigue schemes of their own, so a Perth or Darwin event is planned to those. Send the whole run sheet, including the last pickup.

Rules worth knowing

  • HVNL standard hours allow a bus driver no more than 12 hours' work in any 24 hours, with at least 7 continuous hours of stationary rest
  • Western Australia and the Northern Territory have not adopted the HVNL and run their own fatigue rules

Where a vehicle can stop in town

City venues rarely have room for a bus to wait outside. In the Melbourne CBD, buses may use signed bus spaces to pick up and drop off for less than 15 minutes, and longer layover is only in designated areas outside the centre. Central Sydney has no long-stay on-street coach parking at all.

So the driver will usually set down, move away and return at an agreed time. After a dinner with drinks, that booked ride home is a kindness your guests will notice: nobody has to weigh up whether they're fine to drive.

Your questions

Can one vehicle shuttle between a hotel and a venue all day?

Yes, a loop is a common request. Give us the hours and how often you'd like runs. On a long shuttle day the operator may swap drivers to stay within the fatigue rules for that state.

Can you add a car for a speaker or client?

Yes. A chauffeured sedan or SUV can run alongside the minibus, so a keynote speaker or visiting client keeps their own timetable.

What details help most when asking for a quote?

Guest numbers, every pickup and drop-off address, arrival times, luggage if an airport is involved, and any access needs. If the venue has its own set-down rules, pass those on as well.
